Frequently Asked Questions

  • Lunge Club is less cardio, more bowlo. The closest you’ll get to exerting yourself is strolling up and down the bowls green and lunging forward with a bowl to let the good times roll.

It’s a place where you can regularly bring the girls to meet more girls for a laugh, a chat, a few drinks, and of course, play a spot of bowls.

  • Yeah, kinda, except you don’t need to wait for the next Chrissie or birthday party to take part.

We give you a regular date to meet up, provide you with a few pointers on how not to totally suck at bowls, and then set you up for a mini game. In between bowls, you can take full advantage of your surrounding company and the bowlo’s facilities.

  • Nope. We have all that stuff ready to go. All you have to do is bring yourself and maybe a friend or two.

  • A water bottle. Sunscreen and shades if your Lunge Club meets during the day.

  • Keep it casual, comfy and lunge-friendly. Wear something you feel good in, that isn’t going to restrict the good times. Jeans might be challenging (unless you’re confident lunging in your denim). Activewear is totally fine.

Don’t forget, it’s flat shoes only on the greens. Sneakers, Birks or barefoot will do the trick. And always protect your skin with sunscreen, a hat, and sunnies.

  • It depends on your local bowlo. Typically, Lunge Club is covered by social membership fees, so you might need to join your local club on the day. But reach out to your host bowlo to find out as each venue adds its own little Lunge-Club flair. You’ll pay your own way for drinks and snacks.
